Olga (Ola) Kapitanska

Olga Kapitanska is a Polish-born artist based in London.

Her practice focuses on monoprints combined with acrylic painting. She also works in collagraph printmaking, which can be seen on her website. Her work explores emotional states and symbolic narratives through colour, texture, expressive mark-making and semi-abstract figurative imagery.

The works presented in this exhibition include two pieces from the Tension series, where the motif of fighting roosters becomes a symbol of confrontation and tension.

A third work from the Feels series features a bird and conveys a quieter, more introspective atmosphere.
