Nigel Wade – Lancing Beach Watercolour 80cm x 54cm
Lancing Beach, Watercolour 80cm x 54cm
Nigel Wade
Nigel Wade studied History of Art and Architecture at Reading University, after which he also started creating his own art, influenced by the Pre Raphaelites and the British landscape tradition. His style developed towards hyperrealism and his medium is invariably watercolour. His landscapes, seascapes and architectural subjects are sought after by collectors and are available at selected exhibitions, galleries and online.
His most successful painting to date has been a very large watercolour of St Andrews East Sands - the limited-edition prints have sold out. Recent architectural subject commissions include a notable Georgian house in Surrey with JMW Turner connections and a very large watercolour of the Dover Marina Hotel & Spa.
