Devonne Coll – Edges
Acrylic 36cm x 46cm (with frame)
Devonne Coll is an abstract artist based in Southeast London. Working as an Architect in her daily life, painting has become a passionate outlet which has allowed her complete creative freedom and expression. Her work explores the use of vibrant, powerful and energetic colours, and she works intuitively, using these to express emotional states and perceptions. The bold use of colour is also a nod to her cultural background and Caribbean heritage – where colour is fiercely celebrated. Devonne believes the process of creation is key and aims to be unapologetic and authentic in how her works come together. This belief is reflected in the dynamic and sometimes chaotic energy of her pieces.
