Bev Stone

Bev studied oil painting under professional artist Jamel Akib in Hampshire. She quickly became inspired by his expressive use of vibrant colour and unique approach to painting.​​​​​​ Now she has returned to Kent where she loves walking and exploring beautiful landscapes, recording with photographs which inspire new paintings.


Back in the studio she paints in oils, aiming to interpret the essence of what she sees in a fresh, colourful and semi-abstract way, enjoying use of palette knife to create texture and layers.


Over the years Bev has exhibited and sold her work in the Hampshire Open Studios, The New Forest Show, Appart exhibitions in Odiham, and in the Arigatou Gallery, Edenbridge.
